My first fly with macro lens

I just got my 100mm 2.8 macro from Buydig.com, it only took a few days. I couldn't wait to try it out. The lens is fantastic!!!

that is one ugly fly! Nice shot. A fly in his natural habitat.
the lens is fantastic indeedy! It can be quite the challenge to photograph some insects but with a little patience you will get excellent results. You can also use your 100 mm as a telelens and as a Portrait lens (most women are not so happy with that lens though, Maybe too much detail.....). Must be awsome to photograoh someone like Keith Richards with that lens. Like looking at the Grand Canyon

Great shot of the fly, they look so alien when you see them close up.
