Was walking outside to put some rubbish in the bin when I caught these ants stealing some peice of food. They were crawling up the front door with this huge chunk in their filthy mits.
So I thought I'd take the opportunity to see how the G2's macro mode dealt with the situation.
This was taken in P mode with all 3 of the Hoya macro/closeup filters attached, and the 420ex flash bounced off the ceiling.
Ordinarily I would have taken the shot in AV mode and set for a greater DoF, but I was in a bit of a hurry.
Didn't come out too badly however, and shows off the G2's macro quite well.
