I was searching Adorama and found a few inexpensive kits. I am trying to stay under $300 for something I can use for my family in the garage. Nothing too extravagant. Found these, what do you guys think, and is there anything else I need to add to them? I have a Nikon d300 with a sb-900 which I think has a remote sender.

I know this is more, but wanted to see if the extra money was worth it for these types of lights.

Those are continous lights and many people will advise you to stay away from them.. read more about them in this forum.
The advise will be for the lights in the link below, they also have a 20% discount on them, so you can request that when you order.

Continous Lights will be a problem when shooting for long hours. Stick to Strobes

For $300, I suggest that you consider getting a single Alien Bees b400 with stand and umbrella and get (or make) a reflector for fill.
