Guy at the zoo showing off for a lady friend. :lol:

Not really sure what to do with it in PS, I think it over exposed between his feathers.

The main problem you have is not the overexposed parts between the feathers but the soft focus, do you use selective focus at all? I find that helps a lot when shooting birds and wild life also AI servo is ideal, it locks on to target. Shutter speed should be higher to track movement. A good rule is to try to go beyond double the focal length. If your at 100mm, go over 200 TV.

That make sense and thanks for all your help. I think i was in AL Servo but what type of metering should i be in?

For bird photographer, I do spot metering.
