just read about fake sandisks being a plague on ebay... ugh.. I hope I didn't get screwed >_<

Nah, looks like the seller has bought a few and claimed the rebate(cut out UPC) and is reselling it.

the things in your favor are ....it's from the u.s. and the UPC has been removed. i'll bet it's not fake but you can always check with sandisk when you get it.

where did you see it for 27?
even buydig.com is 54.00......of course after rebate its 39.00......but what the heck.....10 bucks is not that big a difference in this case.
and the OP is getting a genuine card

The way to tell fakes from genuine cards is that the genuine cards will have a serial number on the side of the card as well (not the front or back, but on the very narrow side)
