Pekka, I have just intalled 1.22 and got it to work. It wasn't as easy as I had hoped, but was actually fun. Before I spend too much time setting it up, should I wait for 1.3? Is there a conversion script for one version to the other, or do I need to reinstall the whole thing?

You don't have to reinstall. Everything in your gallery will be preserved if you upgrade to the next version. Read 1.3 release candidate installation instruction and you will have an idea. So don't worry and share more of your works! :)

Sean, thanks for the reply. I have gotten my site up and running with just about 50 pictures. I think I will hold off on putting more up until I install 1.3.
Question to you and anyone else who uses the program. Given the use of multiple galleries, do you store the photos in separate directories for each gallery, or are you lumping all of them together. I was hoping to get a feel for how each strategy works before I get too deep in the picture upload process.

I think it is pretty important to get your folders organized well in the very beginning. I have seen some galleries having ALL the photos together and it does not look good.

I also keep all my shots in their own respective folders, it helps keep things tidy and organized and it prevents file name conflicts.
