your shots would look great placed on the walls of a modern, monochrome kitchen. I like 'em!

Excellent. I love your creativity and always enjoy you posts. I have nothing critical to say. You have a way of keeping things simple but very interesting.

In the future, when an entire museum is dedicated to your life's work, these will obviously be in the Hall title "Clothes Pin Phase":D. Fun images.

I do love an invitation...
...but I'd like it to be to your table one day ;-). Lighting and contrast look great. They're terrific pictures. You're just going to have to live with it :-P. The only thing bothering me is the few that come too close to the bottom of the frame. Some can be "fixed" by adding more black underneath - "cherries" and "lettuce" - while garlic, for me, is destined to be the least successful of the set, despite it's still considerable appeal. Superb work.
Cheers, Tony

#1 clean the leaves (white stuff on it)
#2 use a bigger strawberry (it looks lost).
Someone had to actually give some advice.

I feel sorry for the birds that are coming your way...
Ok on to the pictures.
#1: Nothing glaringly wrong. It might have looked better if the leaves did not hide the two cherries. I would also add some space between the cherries on the left.
#2: I don't care much for the way the strawberry is lighted. There's too much empty space and the composition is not very pleasing.
#3: Portrait orientation would look better here imho, but that's a matter of taste.
#4: My favorite shot. The highlights of the lettuce in the middle are a tad bright compared to the other vegetables, but nothing major.
#5: I think it's interesting. However, I think the mugs are somewhat centered (vertical-wise). I would've lowered them in the frame a bit.
I drop by the food photography thread occasionally, and your work is very nice :)

Jenabean :) thanks that makes me smile!
Chrisu, thanks!
The more I look at them the more i start to dislike them myself, mostly what disturbs me now on my composition i that its all way to centered all.....
na ja, next time better perhaps!

Hi Poloman, thanks for the heads up.
I didnt want the garlic to be to clean as it was just out of the ground and really wanted to reflect that.

My comment was meant as a joke .... regarding the laundry theme. If you left your shorts that way, there might be a problem. :)
