Thought I would finally post a couple pictures.

One more of some flowers in my yard.

Pretty nice pictures. #1 is alittle dark IMHO. #2 is very sharp. What lens did u use?

What lens did u use?
If I remember correctly I used a quantaray 70-300mm on the first two, and the kit lense on the third.

And yes, I like #2 the best. Very good (and clear).

For future photos, I recommend getting a shot of the cat's face, and maybe some flowers focused in on a Bee or something.

Everyone wants to see the face of animals :) and everyone likes to see Bees at work. Just some ideas.

The kitty is a gem to the camera. If I were in your shoes, I'd clog the memory cards with pictures of the cat.

One very good technique is to take hoards and hoards of photos of a particular subject, then carefully look over them, finding the best ones.

When your mind becomes trained to seeing and understanding which ones are the best ones, and why, you'll start to take better and better photos.
