[EDITED: resized images + PS out sign]

First off this was shot on a pretty windy day, so there's some significant ghosting in the front hedges. second, i shot this off a trashcan lid, as i've yet to purchase a tripod. haahaaa. third, and most importantly, i wanted to make this a natural looking HDR, not that fantasy-overthetop-pp-crap.

here we go:
f4 :: iso200 :: 1/460 :: EV0

EV-1

what do think? suggestions?

Not bad. I personally would clone out the sign. It should be easy to do with how scrubby the brush around it is.

Also the entire frame seems like its tilted right to left.

Resizing would be nice to a) comply with forum rules and b) so we can see the whole picture at a time...

I think the bottom one looks terrific in terms of the detail of the mountain, the sky, etc. A resize, straighten, and clone out of the sign would add to it.
It really is a great photo (imhyo).

the parts of the multiple images out of register kill it.

get a tripod, and forget about HDR.

... where is that located Utah?

looks like garden of the gods, ... coloraudi

Very good and natural looking.

It really brought out the clouds and the foliage.

it looks pretty good! what program did u use for it? i tried out HDR with a program called "Qtpfsgui" awhile ago but the pic would get glitchy with random patches of grey if i used 3 pics but worked when i used 2 and it also would crash half the time i tried to save.

Photomatix Pro 3.1.3 (http://www.hdrsoft.com/download.html#pmp). killer program. specifically, i use the lightroom 2 plugin for the final pp.

I think that looks great for your first attempt.. I to used Qtpfsgui my first time and was not getting it to work near its potential... I gave up after an hour!
