I shot the whole event from the stands, im going to have to get myself a media pass next year. There were people walking around in media vests with point and shoots... :face:

where do you find out about these events?

Well I somewhat follow drifting, so I knew this event was coming.

Thanks, I made the best out of the situation I had at the time. If I had a media pass I would have rented a 70-200L and would have been down on the track a lot closer to the cars. Next time...

yea.. I was one of those people w/ the media vest but not the one w/ the point-n-shoot :grin:

Jim Liaw was pretty adamant during Friday's media meeting about not allowing PnS users media access. If you saw people on the track with them they were probably team members, not press.

Haven't edited my shots yet but I'll have them up soon.

I was shooting with 135L and XSi. If I had planned it out better I would have rented a 70-200L or 100-400L.
