Fellow photographer Dave Harvey, his excellent work can be seen here, (http://www.daveharvey.ca/) referred to this place as Mordor...They don't call Ulsan, the Industrial Capital of Korea for nothing - this is a small part of the Petro Chemical Plant.

That's a beautiful picture, Symes... it looks like Fantasyland. Too bad it's a chemical plant!

Yeah the barb wire that I ommitted from this picture surely wouldn't lend itself to the same Fantasyland image it appears...

Thanks, I plan on making a few more visits there but I have to say I feel my life shortening by weeks every hour I spend near this pollution mecca...

Awesome,. This is incredible.. is the greeninsh hue to the lighting real? or PS enhanced?

I love the imagery of both Morder and the Gotham Chemical plant..

I have another,. see if any of you agree and recognize...

The pic was in Raw but the colours are all real, they have only been sharpened...

In fact the only thing I have done is make it Outdoor Strong in RawShooter and a bit of shadow contrast...

The Hue and Saturation are both at 0

I beleive the bluish tint lights are probably metal halyde,. the greenish may be mercury vapor,.. if I recall correctly the Sodium lights have a more yellow cast..

I't just so cool how the facility has these different areas lit by differing hued lights.

No filter whatsoever...

Just the Nifty Fifty and my tripod...I can only take credit for what is included in the frame...the lights are spectacular at night...
