For those interested:

I was having alot of trouble with my Delta Flip Bracket and was about to trash it. I got an early Fathers Day gift; an Opteka Battery Grip. Put it on and this afternoon decided to shoot some macro. Was wondering if the grip would work with the bracket so just for fun put it all together. The arm of the bracket is almost straight up and it is now easy to move the flash to any position. The arm is ROCK SOLID; no flopping or sagging anymore! I also have the dual batteries so can go camping and shoot all weekend without worries. Hope someone finds this info useful.

Not sure why the grip affects the bracket but sounds like you have a solution to the delta flop.

I'm guessing it was because without the grip, you had to bend the arm down further than with the bracket. I had the grip when I got the bracket, so mine never flopper so to say, but it is definitely not too stable.
