Haha she looks like my old Pakistan girlfriend. I feel like this picture makes her nose look too sharp. What I mean by this is there's no fill light showing detail behind the shadow of her nose. I think the lighting is good in that it's very dramatic though so Im a bit torn. What I would maybe try is scooting over to the right a bit to see if you can maybe keep that lighting as is or maybe have her turn her head right a smudge. Hope this helps.

I agree about the lighting. Further, her expression looks literally tight lipped and her face is lifted away from the camera... I read it as a somewhat defensive look, not welcoming the viewer's attention, or if so doing it with a wry humour. It's an unusual pose/expression, but not necessarily one that flatters or captivates. Cheers, Tony

Yeah, I would get a reflector over on the right side and kick a little light up into that dark shadow area just a tad. That, and get her to relax her facial expression a wee bit.

A reflector or a fill light on the right side (as you're looking at the photo) would lighten her face just enough. I think as it is now the right is too dark.
