This is the oldest VFW Post in Texas.
Can't decide if it is over done or not. What do you think?

Definitely has some potential.

Maybe a bit more contrast? Some empty space in the reflection, a tighter composition would be better.

added some contrast.
cropped the image a bit although I'm not that good at cropping. assume that is what is meant by tighter composition.
help me understand what empty space in the reflection is all about.

I hope you don't mind me editing it but as they say a picture's worth a thousand words. I straightened the building, did a curve to add some contrast and cropped the bottom.
I should add that your original composition is fine if there's some cloud to take up that empty space.
