I don’t think that this has been covered before, I would like to use two, three or four different domain names, but one EE database.
Basically what I am looking for is different entry points to EE for each domain, that will be specific to that domain name i.e. for Racing photos I would like to have a EE home page which specifically shows just Racing photos and for Rally photos I would like to have a home page specifically for that. Once they move further into EE it would be nice to have access to the other sections i.e. Architecture or Landscape.
The reason for asking is that I am setting up a web site for some event photography that I am starting to do. I have the domain name for it, but would like to use just the one EE gallery, due to the costs of marinating two separate galleries.
I have seen a few other photographers who have web sites that do this, although they are not using EE.
I think that I may be able to do this with Exhibition Groups, but I like the look and feel of the EE home page, also I think that this would/may help search engines like Google as it would help with the wording you could use to describe the type of photographic contents.
Is this a simple task, I thing that nested exhibition groups/gallery’s may help with to some extent with this problem, and that these may well be available soon. Without this sounding like a leading question, would I be better waiting for the next version of EE.
