It's Taking Way Too Long!

Even though it will be anticlimactic when it finally arrives (as I already own and love the camera), I still look every day for the review of the 1dsmkII on DPReview.com. There has to be a reason that this has not been posted. Perhaps Canon doesn't want to see the camera reviewed there and will not supply them a sample. Could this be the case? Just about every other site has fully reviewed this camera, some twice.

What gives? Anybody have the inside scoop they are willing to share? It's been suggested maybe he's going to do a comparo between the D2X and the 1dsmkII, but from what I've seen he's never done that before.

Is DPReview the only place you go for camera reviews? Steve's Digicam and Luminous Landscape already have reviews on the 1DsmkII, if you haven't seen those yet.

Pac, I have indeed read those. That was my reference when I said other sites had reviewed it already, some two times, referring specifically to the luminous landscape. I do however like the detailed reviews which DP does. At the same time, I appreciate the more user-oriented reviews of Michael Reichman.
