The perspective on the Hog from behind the hospitality tents is very catchy.

Well seen and captured.

Did anyone do the local camera store (I forget the name .. Roberts maybe?) "Demo Day / Workshop" at the airshow. I think that's a great marketing / PR thing by them.

Thanks eveyrone. It is Roberts that offers the Air Show package. I would be interested to know if anyone did as well. I was able to get a VIP pass and drove my car right up to the runway, but I only had my XSi & 600mm to use. A friend was with me and had a Sigma 120-300 f2.8 and I fell in love with that lens. I hope to pick one of those up some day!

I was in the Roberts chalet as well...did it last year, too. It's really awesome to have the Canon rep there to let us use the 300 2.8, 400 2.8, 500, 600, 800, etc. The only "problem" was that last year I was able to use the 70-200 2.8 L IS and the 300 f/4 L IS, and eventually ended up buying copies of each of those lenses. I'm really in love with the 300 2.8 L IS now after using it a bit at the show....it's soooooo sharp.
