Error E50 on Powershot A85

Hi friends!!

yesterday I bougth a canon powershot A85. I put the compact flash (32 mb orig), and switch on the camera. In the LCD show "Storage Error" (in spanish: Error de targeta). when i try to fromat it, the camera is show in the Left Down corner "E50", and camera switch off.

i tried with other Cf Kingston 512 Mb and the same Issue.

Anyone know abaut this Problem?

the ribbon cable that connects the cf slot to the main board in your camera is probably loose. also, pop out your cf card and peek inside the cf slot to see if any pins are bent or broken.


if you just bought the camera, then i suggest you just take it back and exchange it for a new one.

thanks S45, i go to shop and talk with the seller and give me the money. i buy it in other shop, and now works.

the seller say me there are some pins missings.

well, now i must read how to config the camera for take the best pictures.
