I just got around to processing this. 1/400th X 10 subs. Stacked in Nebulosity2. PP in PSCS2 for detail.

I think this is a beautiful shot. To get that level of detail you have to go with a darker moon that you actually see, it's what you get when you spread the pixels out. The exposure looks very even across the image and there's a real sense that you're looking at a sphere, which you don't get with a high-key image. Well done!

That's a very clear, crisp looking moon image...I bet a higher res version would be stunning.

I can't imagine if you shot the Whole moon without any shadow!
