70-200 f4L as a Macro??

This was the only lens I was stuck with yesterday, really wish I had my macro with me. Still though I'm surprised how these two came out. Not nearly as sharp as I'd like but still not bad, especially considering I had to take them from over four feet away!

Great photos! I have also shot the 70-200 in this manner, seems to work well when other options aren't available.
