Great evening for it as well. Excellent shots Des, no1 is well timed and well captured. No 300mm canon tonight?

Excellent shots, love that first one. The one thing I would point out is the backgrounds, your horizon line is tilted.

Seriously, my first advise is to sit down on the ground or something much lower, you want to be shooting slightly up at the players. Second, just like in portraits you don't want the sun directly at your back, it will blow out the players faces and usually you don't get full faces as they're squinting.
