Wow! I can't believe I was there!

Nice... I would crop a bit of the left side off though.....

nice shots. I agree with the crop though. And it looks like it might be time for a sensor cleaning.

Looks like it might be raindrops on the lens, rather than sensor dust?

The second one has some apocalyptic feeling. Perhaps, I like it. And agree with the left cropping.

I disagree with the crop. I like it how it is - it gives me a feeling of something rolling in on the storm.

edit: also the solitude of Lady Liberty, etc... I really like the feeling as is.

edit 2: just to clarify, I'm talking about the photoshopped picture.

#2 has a great effect but agree wih the crop.

Thanks for the constructive Critism guys!

About the cropping, it was actaully intentional. I just thought it would be cool to give the left side alittle more space to show the ray of light from the sky going in to the statue as a symbol of freedom, which is what the statue liberty is about. And the light is coming from the inlet of the river; that isthe reason why I left so much space.

But yeah, I was quite happy with how the picture turned out. And yes, I really need to clean my sensor :D
