I got 2 of the, 2 x 1800mah, for $18us shipped. I have a BG-E1 on the way, and if I'm not mistaken it holds 2. So I will in turn have 1 out as a spare. I couldn't beat the price.

Amazing... I don't think in the years I've been on this forum we have had a "show us your EOS stuff" thread...
The closest I recall is a shot of the inside of a certain members closet,. which contained a lot of empty boxes... a LOT of empty boxes...

Are we going to see the heavy hitters weighing in here soon?

I have it on good authority that the closet in question now contains fewer small boxes, but has two decidedly larger boxes sitting on the floor. I'm also led to believe that some of the smaller boxes have been dispersed to other parts of North America (including Canada).

There is an element of one-up-manship in every pursuit... I remember Winchester had gold plated rifles commemorating special events and Olympus had gold plated cameras for their execs etc.

Is there a golden EOS 1 on some collector's shelf?

I suppose if there was a gold EOS I could get one and proudly put it on show in a glass display cabinet downstairs in my EOS den...

BTW, if ever you're in town, call in and share a yarn!

What is that? Like $100,000 worth of lenes?

The last time I did a count it was about $68,000ish for everything, but the 1200, which is guessed at between $72,000 to $90,000 (or more then all of the others combined)

As to showing my toys, I showed most of them to Belmondo, live and in person, does that count?

I don't want to unpack my camera bag(s), it might frighten me. I know it will frighten my poor helpless credit card. I already melted one down.

1200? So those must be custom built and ordered for a price tag like that huh? Can't see there being that many who could afford to have that, never mind a store keeping them in stock.

A Sony P72 according to the EXIF.

I suppose this is a good opportunity to take everything out of the bag and clean it up.

Missing from this shot is the 10D, 100-300 lens and 24-85 lens (my son scammed them from me). The 20D and the 50 1.8 are taking the shot.

It looks somewhat simillar to my mess. I don't have the big DO lens, though. I refuse to pull it all together in one place for a picture, out of fear that my wife might see the pile and start asking embarrassing questions.

I only recently got the bracket, so I don't have many pictures yet using the full setup. Here are a few from a few weeks ago, though. The 580EX with SoftBox was aimed forward and the 420EX with OmniBounce was aimed at a 45 degree angle at the ceiling.

No way !!!! You have the right to drive a Ferrari only if RED. Any other color is just wrong ! You know that "Ferrari Red" is somehow a patented color ? Just like Porsche should be "Porsche green" or a olt BWM bike should be black.

No choices here, my friend. If its going to be a Ferrari, red is the only choice.

Lonnie, you know, you don't have to get a separate body for each lens you buy. You are allowed to swap lenses on a body, you know!

It is a bit heavy, but not too bad. I don't think so anyway. It's more awkward than heavy.

No choices here, my friend. If its going to be a Ferrari, red is the only choice.

To be perfectly honest, if I had the money and was seriously going to buy the car, there's no question... It would be black. That's the only car color I even like. Red is my second least favorite color for a car, right behind yellow. I can't stand either one of 'em.

Lonnie, you know, you don't have to get a separate body for each lens you buy.

NOW you tell me! Actually, I have a few other, third-part lenses that I left at home. I didn't include them in the picture because I haven't used them in years. By that same logic though, I should have left the two bodies on the left at home, too. I haven't run any film through either of those in at least two years. I actually only brought them with me just to put in that picture. I do use all of the other cameras mentioned and pictured, though.

The bodies, left to right, are: Rebel 2000, Rebel 2000 with grip, 20D with grip, 10D with grip and Elan 7E with grip.

Well.. despite any philosophical aspect... I suppose that anybody that has the money for a Ferrary has the right to buy it in any color he likes :D

Still, mine will be red (don't know when and even if...) its not my favourite color also, but...
