Simon, snowshoe Siamese, brilliant and coy. He answers my cell phone, brings me the mail, and has "helped" me cook. He's only 10 months, so I expect his coloring to get more contrasty as he ages (siamese can take up to 3 years to fully develop their coloring).
First pic is him pretending to be a tough guy. He's not, but he wants to be. The second is him in one of his most favorite places to hang out.
Enjoy-

And Esse; she is a dilute calico, and just a wonderful, sweet soul. She doesn't care about anything - and I mean anything! - as long as she gets her sratches and cuddles. The most amazing part of her, though, are her eyes...so that's what I photographed.
Enjoy!

Both shot with the 20D, kit lens and flash, manual focus, ISO 200 (I think). Not sure about the rest of the EXIF...dunno how to look it up, and I don't remember.
Thanks for looking, and comments are welcome.

I really like that first picture. That cat is very beautiful. Its funny how cats like to hand out in the sink my friends cat does the samething, and he always trying to play in the water.

Nice pics. My 3 cats would not even go near the sink. They are afraid of water. They older they get the lazier a cat gets.

Very cute. My male Hemi use to lay in the sink when he was small. Funny things is, he would not move if you turned on the water.

All this time I thought my little nutball was the only cat who likes to hang out in the sink...

Great shots, Noni. You're making it tough on me, keeping my wife catless.

Thanks for the compliment.
Would it help to know that both Esse and Simon (and the other three) are all rescue? I had to bottle feed Simon (I got him at 2 1/2 weeks old), and he's an intense sort of cat. Maybe it would help to know that it's coming up kitten season, and there will be oodles of kittens needing homes pretty quickly? No? That doesn't help? Sorry. Get your wife a cat...
Thanks, all, for your comments and compliments. Simon loves the sink - so much so that when I'm brushing my teeth, he's managed to get back in the sink, and I've...well, let's just say he smelled like toothpaste for a day or so. LOLOL! And he loves water; it's something that Siamese, Himis, Bengals, and some other breeds really like. Kinda makes it tough when I take a bath...

Nice shots Noni! Like the one of Simon hanging out in the sink, 3, sometimes 4 of our cats do the same thing. :) Like the eyes Esse has, very pretty. Thanks for sharing!

They are intense. I showed a friend that photo, and she said "what is that cat mad about?" I hadn't realized it, but she does look a tad peeved. LOLOL!!!
Simon's special spot is the sink. It's all his, and he'll paw at it and scratch it to make it more comfortable, and then he plops right in. Doesn't matter if I've just used the water, either...he doesn't care. He's a goof...
Thanks for looking, all! I appreciate the comments and compliments.
