I have a set of Cactus triggers (transmitter/receiver) That I want to fire using the PC port from my camera. I bought used and didn't get the PC cord for the transmitter. The idea is to have my 580EXII on camera, but use the cactus trigger to fire my 430EXII off camera. Does anyone know which of the following would be the right cord?

Does your Canon 430EXII has a PC port like the 580EXII? If so, all you need is to buy the PC cord that will connect from your camera to the 430EX.
If you are not sure, send Lon an email message in www.flashzebra.com (http://www.flashzebra.com) and he will tell you the exact cord you need, he is very responsive and prompt too.

You probably need something like this:

or this:

Here is something else you can do.. connect the Cactus Trigger to your hotshoe to fire one of the flash with Receiver attached. Then get a long PC cord that will run from your camera PC port to your second flash, I think it's the same thing you were trying to accomplised.

430 EX II Features...

Its Wireless E-TTL II compatibility permits it to function as a slave unit, triggered by a 580EX, ST-E2, or MR-14EX. Any number of 430EX and 550EX Speedlites can be combined as slave units for creative effects.

So, this is not an option in your case?
