Lets say you have a total of max 10 point to allocate to each aspect, to achieve a successful career in wedding photography, where would you place them, and where are you:

Equipment:
Creativity:
Knowledge (technical):
Personality:
Business:

I would like to be:
Equipment: 6
Creativity: 8
Knowledge (technical): 10
Personality: 8
Business: 6

Unfortunatly, I am at
Equipment: 2
Creativity: 7
Knowledge (technical): 6
Personality: 8
Business: 1

You put 10 on the least important characteristic on that list and a 6 on one of the most important (business) ;)

I get your point, though :) I think being successful at wedding photography is sort an irreducibly complex tripod - meaning you sort of have to have all three legs in order to be standing. Those three legs being personality, business savvy, and nice images ;)

In part, the answer depends on why you do this. Are you in this game because you enjoy the art? Are you in it for money? Do you just like being a part of the couple's day? The answers vary based on why you do it and what you want to get out of it.
