Really nice panned shots (BMW and the last two pics). I also like 'Kimi Mustangs' and 'Raising the bar'.

I lightened the tires a bit on that one during processing to keep the detail... didn't notice the line to the shadow - Doh! I'll have to go back and fix that tonight - Nice catch! :)

Thanks!

You still heading out to Milan this weekend? I can't make it Friday, but I'll be there with my '68 on Saturday.

Why yes I am... Will be there both days... (also got credentialed... woohoo!)

Really looking forward to it... been over a month since I've gotten out to shoot!

Ugh! I'm jealous!

I think you need a backup photog to stand next to you (just in case) :)

LOL!

Thing is I think I'M the BACKUP photog! LOL!

and if that makes you jealous... I seen a sneek peak of a certain Mustang magazine that will be using one of my pictures from the 45th for the cover... ;)

Sept. issue... which is the next one after the current one... They have a free on-line version (you just need to register your e-mail).. I'll post up when it comes online... yeah, i'm a little geeked about my first cover! LOL!

Ok... so look for the big fat guy with the floppy hat on Saturday! LOL!

C'mon dude - it's the NMRA nationals - that describes 70% of the participants!

Seriously though - I'll keep an eye out for you - I'll be the tall long haired guy trying to sneak up on the wall (should be easy to spot - with security dragging me off and all)

(I'll also be wearing a Mustang T-Shirt - if that'll help ;) hehe)

Great pannings and nice catch in the 1st picture.
I haven't seen anybody yet who used a 5DmkII for sports!

Thanks!

I love the 5DmkII - my 40D has been relegated to backup status.

Granted - I can't do 17fps for sports/action (which took me a little while to get used to) I've found that i'm paying much more attention to when I'm snapping with 3fps - which is giving me better end results.

The hands down best aspect of using the 5dmkII - that full frame sensor! I can crop down to almost nothing on the picture and still have great resolution. Love it - and won't be going back any time soon. :)
