These were shot at high noon and it was probably too bright and very hazy, but I didnt get to choose the arrival time. Maybe IS has spoiled me, maybe it was too bright out, but Im messing up somewhere. They all seem a little OOF to me. Would an ND filter have helped? These have been sharpened and saturated a bit. Thanks for input.
Forgot to mention a B+W UV/Haze filter was used.

#4 does it for me
if you haven't done it already invest in a circular polarizer to capture those clouds or do a multi-exposure HDR

Really like #4. I have the same lens and love it. A cpl would have helped a lot, and maybe a little more DOF, Maybe F16-22 with a higher ISO ( +/- 400) to keep the shutter speed up.

As ppm mentioned, above, a circular polarizer might be a better accessory for color landscape work.
Your only complaint seems to be the issue of sharpness (or OOF). Anytime you downsize images to this size (1023 x 682) any hope of seeing the image in all of its full resolution glory is lost. You now have a less than 1 MP image. Unless we get to see a full detail 100% crop of the image, any discussion of its sharpness is futile, because everything is limited by the extremely low pixel resolution.

The saturation seems a bit high or maybe its just me...

You shot too late in the day and that's why your colors seem a little washed out. Remeber the 1hr after sunrise and 1 hr before sunset shooting rule. The reason 4 is the best is because it has less direct sunlight. If you can't get there at the best times, try bracketing -2,0,+2 in order to create hdrs. I found out that if i shoot around noon, the hdrs are the only pics that come out good.
