What is everyone suggestions on fixing the background on this picture? The line of shrubs and the house I feel distract from the subjects.

Perhaps place the subjects farther away from any background? or you can try using a longer lens or shallow depth of field. Nice picture.

Clearly use also much open diaphragms.
