Nice scene, could've used a Polariser... then maybe we could see more of the illusive "Nessie" monster.

Nice shot. Mt Baker doesn't get the publicity of some mountains, but it's a real beauty.

Thank. Yes it is a dream, infact the San Juan Islands caused me to get a 37 foot sail boat and take up photography. I have been out a few times this year so far and plan on some exteded trips this summer. I am still working on the photos I took a week ago. I hope to have my web page updated with more, soon.

If you ever need company email me I am in Bellingham. Getting a clean shot of Baker is very hard with all the clouds and then the haze washes it out most of the time but when it's clear it is awsome.

You can only get that shot from Sucia Island or on the way there, and you can only get to Sucia by private boat. The hills all around it cover it up when your close, and it looks so big from out there because you can see more of the base.
