A weekend in Austin

Tracie (http://amomenttokeep.com/) and I spent the weekend in Austin (http://www.ci.austin.tx.us/) and although it was really really hot and sunny, we got some good photos. Part of the first day was spent at the Lady (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lady_Bird_Johnson_Wildflower_Center) Bird Johnson Wildflower Center (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lady_Bird_Johnson_Wildflower_Center). It was hot, sunny and just plain nasty for photography...but I still got some pretty good shots I think.

On Sunday, I went up to the Texas State Capitol while Tracie was at a photo shoot...I meandered around and tried to take some shots at different perspectives. I really liked the fence around the capitol and tried to setup an interesting shot. Taken with the 5D and 24-70
