Lovely shots, we have had freezing rain and snow the last three days. Killed all the fruit blossoms. Ah, well, spring in the Rockies.

Thanks Stan,
I took these photos in a wheat field across the road from the bull in my other thread. Surprisingly, I found some pretty farm country only 20 minutes from my downtown apartment.

I really like the ladybug - a bright splash of color within a gorgeous green background. The detail on the blade of grass is really nice.
Will you share the EXIF? I'm trying to learn when a photo grabs me, how it was done. I'd appreciate it!
Best-

Noni,
I think that shot was f9.5 at 1/60 ISO 200, can't remember for sure, but those numbers are close enough. I kept changing ISO and f stop as the sun went in and out. I do all my close up stuff hand held. It's always a compromise between shutter speed and DOF; need a lot of light to get the required amount of both. It was shot handheld with my Sigma 70-200 with Canon 500D closeup filter attached. I love that combo.
