Burning photos to CD

What kind of CD is needed? I use Toast to burn music on my Mac so all of the CD's I buy are for music. Would I need a Data CD?

You need a data CD. "Music" CDs are pretty much only used in dedicated (ie PC not needed) consumer CD burners. The extra $ you pay for "Music" CDs supposedly go to pay royalties or something.

If you have a CD burner, you do NOT need to buy "Music" CDs. I burn Audio CDs using regular CD-Rs on my PC all the time and they play fine on any CD player.

So just a regular CD-R burned as DATA would work fine :)
