I answered an add for a photographer and it's a job i know I can do well. I have all the equipment (and then some) to do this. I have never done anything like it however, and I'm concerned about either being over or under priced.
Here is a discription of the gig....any suggestions on how to approach?

Gday,
Many thanks for answering our small ad, here are some handy infos:
The shoot if for 12-13 people, corporate portraits, outside or indoors depending on the weather and yes, we pay.
That's where you come in - Please advise of costs for your good services for a 1-2h shoot, including a DVD of chosen final pictures of staff members handed in within a 1 week delay from the original shoot date.
Our tentative date is June 23rd on lunch time; 12 to 1pm, the location is the Saint-Jean garrison, located in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu.
A decision will be taken according to the best price/service range amongst the different photographers that have answered our ad.
I hope this informs you enough to be able to submit your name and pricing.
Many thanks,

Yeah, figure out what the minimum pay you'd accept for your time would be, then tack on a few more (applicable currency units). If they choose you, great- you got what you asked for. If not, no big deal- they weren't going to make it worth your time.
