Experiments with Water - No. 1 of 3
At the moment I'm in experimentation mode (when I'm not taking portraits), and this pictures is the results of my attempt at capturing water splashes. We've all done it I know, but I had to have my hand at it at some point for the first time, and here you see the results.
Some interesting information about this photo shoot:
1. All photo's were taken outdoors in ordinary sunlight at about 10:00 AM.
2. In total, 844 photo's were taken using the motor-drive on the Canon EOS 20D, in Macro mode on a tripod.
3. Of the 844, only 29 were kept as possible candidates (the last batch of photos were by far and away the best, so clearly I learnt something here as I went along).
4. Levels, Contrast and some minor (I promise) colour adjustment has been done in Photoshop, along with the regular cropping, image resizing and borders
5. Other EXIF info you can see for yourself from the photo information
That's about it, hope you enjoy them. Let me have your critique.
If you want to see the other two (or a larger clearer version of this), go to my site at http://mrstickman.deviantart.com
