I was in car heaven with all these Shelby's and that GT 40 around..
There was knowone in the show room when I was shooting the Daytona, and I was not about to drop the front down without them..
This Daytona puts out 590 HP.

Roush only provides a powertrain for those cars...I shot one on Hines Drive (Detroit).

agreed. nice shots though.
the last missing shelby coupe prototype was recently found and sold at auction for over 3 million. that gt 40 is probably a kit as well but i bet it would still be awesome to drive.

I was told that they are not kits, but reproductions produced outside of the US.

This is a Superformance copue. The gt40 is as well. Made in South Africa and sold in US as a roller (minus engine and transmission).

Top bid for this example at a May auction was US $6.4 million. Bid wasn't high enough and the car was withdrawn.
