Locations in Melbourne

Hey everyone,
I am doing a fashion shoot soon, trying to showcase some beautiful dresses. and I'm looking for a deserted type of place. I was thinking a desert type of location but i don't know anywhere in Melbourne. Anybody have any ideas?

Look towards the Sunset.

Turn 45 degrees North.

Drive until you hit sand.


Sorry to be so vague but i'm a New South Welshman, I just know that in this country on the east coast, driving North West from just about anywhere will get you to the desert haha. Good luck finding some remote locations though :).

You'll definitely need to get out of Melbourne itself. The only thing I can think of is get on the Hume and eventually turn off and find somewhere empty!

Something that is VERY useful these days is Google Maps. Go on the image view and just zoom in and out around where you're based and then move around looking for somewhere close-ish.
