Still a complete newb to photography, but im working at it. the quality kinda sux due to resize and change of resolution. but any comments would be appreciated. i am trying to get into shooting cars, and motorsports at that matter. any critique is a good one. thanks

Nice - Pardon the ignorance, but how did you take the second picture... I've seen that type of picture many a times where the front is almost bulging out... But I've never been able to re-create it (Although I've only tryed once)

lense was set to 18mm/landscape i believe. and kind of a closeup shot with a slight tilt. if i remember right thatz how i got the shot.

For God's sake, push the peddle to the metal before you get assualted!! If it does not move, you must remove!!!!

I like the second one but if you were just 1 foot further away you'd have the entire car. Nice pictures though.

what was your iso?

in broad daylight you want to be at 100 ISO

resizing the image should not reduce quality

i like the car though, esp the volks

not sure what the iso was set too. probably 400. probably too high. but i was just out messing with the camera. i tried out a whole bunch of different settings. just ended up liking these two. but i will definetely check the iso for next time. in resizing, i meant the file size and quality. went with a little lower quality to save on disk space to upload. but i have a host now, so i can get away from having to reduce the image so much. but thanks for comment. :)

no problem

but yeah, just make sure you set that iso to 400 when shooting in daylight

when i first got my cam, i was shooting in daylight at 1600 iso (learn from error i guess lol)
