After a rainy morning yesterday, we took advantage of the overcast afternoon to drive to Gatlinburg, Tn and tour the Roaring Fork Motor Nature Trail. This is a wonderful 11 mile loop through a rain forest (at least it was yesterday) that was unbelievably lush and green. The mountain stream provided a continuous show of rapids, cascades, mini-waterfalls and moss covered rocks. It was one of the prettiest places I've seen, and the cloudiness was great for shooting water without blowing out all the highlights. I could have stayed out there forever.

#2 is awesome!
Is that a second stream feeding into the first on the right side of #2?

Thanks, Dave. Yes, there are two streams merging at that point.

Stan, these are incredible shots. I love all that pretty green moss on the rocks.
