How about a camera that uses an new sensor for each photograph. We could make them flexible and put them on a roll. Different rolls could have different sensitivity.

The problem with this new type of sensor is that there is now a consumable product required to use the camera. While this works out really well for the manufacturer of said consumable, the end user loses.

Cheers.

I've heard of this... platform independent files using a system of fast integrated light management, right? It's compatible with all existing interchangeble lens ranges, and there's no focal length multiplier effect!

Amazing!

I'm afraid my toy addiction ended after I ran out of funds. Or maybe it was after the Mutual funds ran out.

Reminds me of a guy, cannot remember where, but he was talking about the difference between film and digital. He said that buying a digital camera is so much more expensive than a film camera. The difference is that when you buy a digital camera it comes with a boxcar full of film. He says that it is up to you to make it a good investment. By that he means that it gets pretty cheap over the life of the camera if you use it.
