A bit bright for my taste (right now at least), but I bet they'd look good in a high-contrast black and white. (this is coming from someone who has yet to take a picture of his daughter half as good as these, and she's already 4 1/2months old).

I agree that these would look great in bw. Maybe a touch on the bright side, but i wont say much about that, because i love high contrasted photos.

My lab prints with a lot of density and prints look a little darker sometimes.

No prblem at all! I'm looking to start shooting baby photos as well, so shots like these really help give me an idea of how to set them up! Thanks for posting these and great examples of how to get a solid shot!
