The shot is of my clownfish
how could I improve the shot etc would be helpful

Too bad the fishy wasn't facing towards you...:-P

Other than that, you're so lucky to capture so much detail! Fish are hard to photograph (for me, anyway). The details on the clownfish are so sharp that you can see individual scales.

Seeing the other end would be my preference too ;-P. Another thing that might help is avoiding having the bright areas of the fish overlap with the bright areas of the background. As is, it looks almost like the fish is "leaking" a pink cloud from its left fin. It's also good if the background isn't so bright it takes attention from the fish. Cheers, Tony

The facing away thing makes it look like a picture of a cat. :)
