Ok all you guys with those fantastic nature shots. I just pulled the trigger on the Canon 10mm macro. I'm looking to see what kind of filters you're using i.e. UV...Polorizing....Haze...?

Thank You
Kevin

Hope its a 100mm
I personally don't usually use a filter on my 100mm f/2.8 but do use a home made hood. Sometimes I will use my CPL when doing water shots :)
However on my MP-E 65mm f/2.8 I do use a B+W UV Haze MRC to protect the lens as I have to get so close to the subject ;)

Very rarely use a CP filter and that's it. You don't need a UV filter, digital sensors are not sensitive to it like film used to be. If you just want protection you can get clear protection filters.

I have the Canon 100mm "macro" f/2.8 lens and use an attached B+W UV/Haze (MRC) filter with good results.
