Hi,

found a few threads about this but I cannot solve my problem so I make another post about this....

I'm running Windows XP and have a Canon Digital IXUS V.

I tried to install the whole package of software from the CD (ZB, USB-driver etc) and I also tried to use the "k1a9_ukx"-package, which I downloaded from Canon.

I'm pulling my hair and crying oceans!!!

It seems to me that my stuff just decided to not cooperate.

Hm.

My XP version is swedish so I want to use the english drivers for my IXUS, that is connected to my USB port.

I tried so many things now...
but I can't get closer than this:

1) XP says that camera is installed and ready to use.
2) When trying to use it I get the error message telling me that my camera isn't connected.

So very annoying!

Maybe is my computer a bit messy now.... tried to find some uninstall info but failed.
Is there a way to check that everything is gone?
(I uninstalled all software and also the camera in device manager)....?

Am I right when I am trying to use the TW_USB-drivers and not the WIA_USB-drivers?

Uh, don't know what to do...

Please please please help....?

I would suggest you use the WIA drivers. I use them and XP pops up a menu when my G2 is connected and I tend to use the Camera-Scanner wizard to down load the new photos.

I think the documention with your camera should suggest using WIA drivers with XP and ME versions of windows

Good luck
