In the Photography Industry News forum (not the most intuitive place) there is a post with a link to a competition with a 5D Mark II as the top prize.
Some viewed the post suspiciously - others supported it - I even entered it. Tonight the OP added some clarification on the nature of the competition: it is a charity fund raiser and resultingly has $25 entry fee (a somewhat common amount.)

At the risk of diluting my chances of winning, the charity seems worthwhile so I encourage anyone interested in owning another 5D Mark II to take a closer look.
