Great shots Jeff. Could you share your setup, and what housing you're using?

Thanks mate.

Hi Stefan,

I'm using a 40D + a Tokina 10-17 fisheye in an SPL housing. Love the setup, but always wishing for that little extra hehe.

I'd love to upgrade and get a 1D2 or 1D3 but can't justify the extra money while I've still got so much to learn.

Nice nice nice. These at 11 or 17? Easy to keep the domed port free of water drops?

They were shot at 10 and it's easy to keep the port clean. You just spit on it and dunk it under the water before each wave. Biggest problem is water splashing back onto the camera which can wreck a nice photo.

Just like this one, a bit of spray from his board hit the port. I would've loved to have had this one fully focused but I'll have to wait till next time I guess

awesome shots - I like how #1 somehow shows the inside & outside colors of the wave - seems tough to meter, or did you bring it out in post?

Great pictures. Seems like the waves in Australia are almost as good as America.

Hadn't checked on here for a while and thought better late than never :p

The lip is backlit so other than playing with the brightness I haven't done any PP, but it does light up the wave very nicely in the morning.

Manual or Auto focus?

Has to be manual with the Tokina from what I've learnt. I've tried with autofocus and 99% of the time it focuses on another part of the wave.

Seems like the waves in Australia are almost as good as America.

No I think America has much better waves. If I was a crowd I'd be heading straight there!
