Finally a track event with sunshine. My hit ratio was way off today for some reason. Must have been the late nite out. The close up is about a 40% crop to show the detail from the 100-400 on the 20D when you do get a good pan.

Not sure who that is. I know they were super fast and started lapping the field 15 min into the race.

That's Kevin Pinkstaff, and Dave Salmi on the same bike in the first pic. Next time, use a polarizer to get rid of the glare. ;)

Agreed, the composition of number 4 makes it stand out above the others... which are in their own right very good pics too.

Did you get any shots of #712?
They crashed out at the entrance to T2 in only the 2nd rider shift. That's when I had to leave, don't know if they were able to repair the bike and continue the endurance race or not.
