Lighting was about as bad as it could get with overcast at 5,000ft all day. Tomorrow for the race is looking a lot better. Here is what I could salvage.

Nice shots. I was there for the races today shooting with my 55-250 IS. Fully extended it didn't get the shots I had hoped for. Guess I know what I need to buy for next year.

You must have been on the U.S side it looks like. I know all of my shots were unusable because of the smoke across everyone of them.

Thanks everyone!

I was on the Detroit side and the smoke was a problem with the lack of winds. You pretty much had to shoot the first pass and that was it.
