Any recomendations for a shampoo or stand in substance....
I need a good strong lather to stick in all the "important places". That looks like shampoo or just a really strong lathery soap.
My first idea was use what I have around here but then I got to thinking someone around here proabably has a recomendation.
Your preferance's or thought's and ideas appriciated...

How about shaving cream - the old brands like Barbasol work pretty well for a heavy lather. It's pretty cheap too.

isn't shaving cream rather flat though?

Sounds like a great stand in for whipped cream....
Maybe I'll have to pick up a can or 2 and try...My fear is Shampoo will be to thin for the look I want but maybe I can mix and match the two for the effect I want. The bubbles from the shampoo and the thickness of Barbasol.
Any chance you have used shaving cream this way....Think it would pass for soap or shampoo used alone?

what about bubble bath soap? Seems to foam up better than shampoo, and maybe stand in the right places for you.

If you want thick bubbles that will cling to the body and that will look like they were generated by soap or shampoo, haw911's suggestion of children's buble bath is a good one. I've used that often for shoots and it clings pretty well. I'll find a couple of example images and link to them so show you what I mean.

Here are some examples of clingy bubble using bubble bath (NWS):

Thanks Mark...That is very much along the lines of what I'm looking for.
I was thinking shampoo in hair and on down the body...But I think bubble bath on up is what I'll do. Looks like it could pass as soap or shampoo!
I'll pick up a couple diffrent kinds to try...I want a nice thick one. And I must admit...I know little about bath product's beyond bar soap and my shampoo. The shampoo I use don't lather up good enoufgh for my purpose.

My daughter has Dora and Tinkerbell bubble bath. A lot of it depends on how much you use. I think they are all the same formula, but packaged to meet the cartoon of the day thing kids are into. Just be careful if you are going to put this into a whirlpool tub; a little goes WAY TOO FAR!!!! Ask my wife....

The bubbles from liquid dish detergent are very clingy and thick as all hell. You never had dish washing bubble fights as a kid? Those were fun... It would probably do the trick. Try it next time you do the dishes and see for yourself.

Along the lines of dish soap: the new pump top Dawn has lets you pre-foam it for precise application, depending on the look you're doing.
