Went out to a local track with my buddy last night to mess around.

Thanks! First shot was with a Sunpak 120J and the second shot was with the 120J and a 580. Both using a Mark II and 70-200.

Very nice! That has to be quite the challenge to shoot in low light with a fast moving subject like that.

I attempted to shoot my brother racing (motocross as well) last Wednesday night and unfortunately I didn't have any lighting. Just high ISO and my 70-200 2.8 IS. Would you mind giving me a bit more info on how you setup the lighting?

You combined my two favorite things in this world besides my kids and wife. dirtbikes and photography. Great pictures. Those are the type pictures that people who love dirtbikes just sit and star gaze at. They think to themselves did he ride out of that or not. Once again great images of beauty in motion.:p

Thanks a lot for the kind words! As far as the setup it was just one flash on the first one and two on the second picture sandwiching the rider together.
